A SIMPLIFIED
SOFA
Canac is a manifesto object of our approach to decomplexifying design. Made of a net inspired by catamarans, its entire structure is accessible and easy to understand. The materials it is composed of are, of course, eco-friendly but also very simple : linen, cotton, metal, and Orbis de Vita foam, recycled and recyclable. Designed as a kit, it simplifies transport, moving, and access to a sixth floor without an elevator.
4 EASY
STEPS
Delivered as a kit, Canac assembles and disassembles in 4 simple steps. Once the metal frame is assembled, the net is attached to the structure, which is then fitted into the foam. All that’s left is to place the cover, and you’re done. To adapt to everyone and extend its lifespan, the net features 3 different tension settings. Lightweight, the transition from sofa to bed is quick and effortless. Designed for Maison Convertible, Canac is a multi-purpose sofa. As the centerpiece of the living room, its dimensions make it a comfortable daybed for one person or a night bed that can comfortably accommodate up to three people.
SUSTAINABLY
CLEAN
Easily disassemblable, each part of Canac can be cleaned effortlessly or replaced in case of accident. The net and cover are machine washable and can be changed individually. The cleanliness and the ability to adapt Canac to one’s preferences based on seasons, moods, and years offer a desirable durability that lasts for decades, one of the studio’s core values.

Choosing a sofa is a long-term decision. Fearing a change in taste or getting bored, we tend to be quite hesitant when making this purchase. With its adaptability, Canac encourages us to be bold.
